Thank you for your interest in working with our company as our Art Director.
We are lookin for someone to come in and design our magazine & help with the overall branding of the company.
This is currently a position that can be worked from home.
You are required to attend a weekly online meeting to review progress.
If hired, you will be assigned a yourname@thetattooindustry.com email to work from.
All magazine designs will either be done by you orturned in to you for approval.
Requirements:
- Masters' degree in design, fine arts, or a design related field.
- 5 years of experience as an art director or creative director
- 3 years within an agency environment
- Background in Keynote, Google Suite, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, and Animate)
- Thorough understanding of photography, typography and printing techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project management. Trains, assigns, schedules, and coaches employees.
- Produces art layouts by developing art concepts and providing work direction to staff.
- Meets art department work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
- Resolves operational problems & identifies work process improvements.
- Selects and secures illustrative material by formulating basic layout design concepts and conducting research.
- Obtains client approval by presenting final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations; and responds to client commentary and requests.

You will be paid on a project to project basis on the agreed rate.
The interview process will be a 13 page interview.

Logo Design:
Part of the position is to design & or oversee the over all branding of the company. This means designing new design or communicating directly with the designer from start to finish.
Below you will see a step by step on how you will communicate with any outside designers.

Payments
Payments will be made upon the completion of each project.
Once the project has been approved you will send an invoice for payment to our accounting department.
Once approved your payment will be released the following Friday for all work turned in by Friday.
