Careers: Marketing Director

Thank you for your interest in applying for our Executive Assistant position.  

This is a full time position that can be worked from home

You can set your own hours every week to work around your personal schedule.

If selected, there will be a two part interview.

  • The first part will be a hour interview will be on the phone .
  • The second part will be a one hour screen share session.

The pay is based on the completion of 100 tattoo artist interviews.

POSITION BREAKDOWN

  1. Contact 50+ artists every day through Instagram.
  2. Contact minimum 50+ tattoo shops every day by phone. 
  3. Complete all needed follow up calls to secure any missing content.
  4. Enter the artists in your spreadsheet to keep up with them as they come in.
  5. Follow up with all weekly submissions to secure any missing items such as images, release forms, orders. 
  6. Collecting all magazine page approvals.
  7. Call scheduling.
  8. Calendar management. 
  9. Maintain an on time magazine release schedule.

All interviews come through a link so you will not have to gather them from the artist yourself.

Equipment Requirements:

  • Cell phone. Preferably an iPhone to be able to manager the company iCloud calendar.
  • Computer laptop or desktop (no Chromebooks).

  • Wired headset w/ microphone for your computer.

  • High speed internet w/ ethernet connection. Minimum 60mbps.

Work programs: Click each program below view them individually.

  1. Instagram: You will be provided with access to the @tattooindustrymagazine page to work form.
  2. Microsoft Outlook: Your work email will be an Microsoft Outlook email. This will need to be logged in on your work computer and personal cell phone. 
  3. RingCentral: You will be assigned a work phone line. All phone calls & text messages will be tracked weekly to ensure that your calls are efficient & that your texts are appropriate.
  4. Clockify: You will be provided with a login for Clockify to track your work time. This program tracks your work hours & location. It will also send a randomized screenshot to our main office every five minutes to make sure that your computer screen is on work tasks during all work hours.

Skill requirements

  1. Empathy: Demonstrating empathy involves understanding and sharing the feelings and experiences of artists. It helps you connect with artists on a deeper level and address their concerns with compassion.

  2. Patience: artists may be frustrated or confused, and it's crucial to remain patient throughout the interaction. Taking the time to listen and address their needs calmly can go a long way in providing effective service.

  3. Active listening: Listening attentively to artists allows you to grasp their requirements accurately. It involves giving them your full attention, avoiding interruptions, and asking relevant questions to understand their concerns better.

  4. Clear communication: Effective communication is essential to provide clear instructions, answer questions, and offer solutions. Using simple language, active and responsive dialogue, and avoiding jargon can enhance the artist's understanding and satisfaction.

  5. Product knowledge: A good representative should have in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services. This enables them to provide accurate information, offer helpful recommendations, and address any inquiries or issues artists may have.

  6. Problem-solving skills: Artists often seek assistance when facing challenges or encountering problems. Possessing strong problem-solving skills allows you to identify the root cause, explore viable solutions, and take prompt action to resolve issues effectively.

  7. Adaptability: Artists come from diverse backgrounds and have unique needs. Being adaptable allows you to adjust your approach and communication style to suit different situations and personalities, ensuring a personalized and positive experience.

  8. Positive attitude: Maintaining a positive attitude helps create a welcoming and friendly environment for s. Even in challenging situations, displaying optimism, resilience, and a willingness to help can leave a lasting positive impression.

  9. Time management: Efficiently managing time is crucial for professionals. Striving to respond promptly to inquiries, addressing issues in a timely manner, and respecting artists' time demonstrates professionalism and dedication.

  10. Attention to detail: Paying attention to details ensures accuracy and prevents errors. Whether it's recording artist information, fulfilling requests, or following up on commitments, being meticulous enhances the overall experience and builds trust.

Knowledge of using AI programs such as ChatGPT are not mandatory but are a plus.
